Man who ran over woman in Oshtemo Township parking lot sentenced to life in prison

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A man found guilty of running down a woman in a Kalamazoo County Walmart parking lot has been sentenced.

Prosecutors say Xuan Thanh Vo of Kalamazoo hit and killed 65-year-old Sandra Villarreal outside the Oshtemo Township store in 2022.

A judge sentenced Wednesday Vo to a mandatory life sentence. He was also ordered to pay restitution to the victim’s family.
