KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – With temperatures expected in the single digits Monday and Tuesday and wind chills as low as minus 25, a number of warming centers will be operational in Kalamazoo.
They include:
Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries, 448 North Burdick Street. Entry times for warming shelter are 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The Salvation Army at 1700 South Burdick Street. Open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Ministry with Community at 500 North Edwards Street. Open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The site has breakfast, lunch, showers, and laundry facilities.
