DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices are eleven-cents a gallon lower than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average is now $3.03, two-cents less than last month but eight-cents more than what we paid last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs an average of $45 statewide.
The state’s highest price is $3.09 in Ann Arbor, while Traverse City has the most affordable gas in Michigan at $2.88 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, St. Joseph County has the lowest average price at $2.85, followed by Kalamazoo County at $2.86, Van Buren County at $2.88, Allegan County at $2.97, Calhoun County at $2.98, Cass County at $3.01, and Barry County at $3.03.
