Man shot by neighbor doing target practice in Schoolcraft

SCHOOLCRAFT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One man is hospitalized at Bronson Hospital after he was shot by a neighbor in Schoolcraft last evening.

Michigan State Police say the neighbor was doing target practice next door near South 3rd Street and West XY Avenue around 6:30 p.m. when a bullet his the victim.

The victim was doing work on his roof when he was shot.

The injuries are not life-threatening, and the shooter is cooperating with police.

No arrest was made.
