DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices are up 10-cents a gallon on average in Michigan compared to last week.
Triple-A Michigan says its survey of stations puts the price at $3.47 a gallon, which is up five-cents from last month and 21-cents less than last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs on average $52 in Michigan, which is $6 lower than last year’s highest price in August 2023.
The most expensive gas is in Jackson at $3.52, followed by Ann Arbor at $3.51 and Lansing at $3.49.
The state’s most affordable gas is in Marquette at $3.38, Benton Harbor at $3.41 and Traverse City at $3.46.
In southwest Michigan, Allegan County is at $3.48, Kalamazoo County is at $3.47, Calhoun County is at $3.45, Van Buren County is at $3.40, and St. Joseph County is at $3.37.
