LANSING, MI — University of Michigan Health-Sparrow will join Habitat for Humanity – Capital Region to celebrate the eventual rehabilitation of a home formally owned by UM Health-Sparrow near downtown Lansing.
The site is in the Eastfield neighborhood that surrounds UM Health-Sparrow Lansing and was among nine properties deeded to Habitat and the Ingham County Land Bank earlier this year to promote affordable housing.
Today neighbors, volunteers and community members will hold a House Blessing at 5:30 p.m., to celebrate the upcoming work, tour the home and explore the neighborhood where more rehabs will occur.
