KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Road Commission of Kalamazoo County is receiving a grant which will help improve a dangerous intersection.
The commission says the intersection at Riverview Drive and East B Avenue in Cooper Township has been the sight of many crashes in recent years, including several deadly crashes.
The $25-million federal grant will help cover 130 miles of road improvements, including the intersection in Cooper Township.
Though exact plans for the intersection have not been finalized, residents are asking for street lights and or stop lights at the intersection.
