LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The latest polling shows the presidential race is getting even tighter in Michigan.
The latest Emerson College and The Hill poll shows Vice President Kamala Harris with 50% of the likely vote in Michigan while former President Donald Trump has 49% of the likely vote.
Those numbers are within the margin of error, which means the race for the White House is virtually tied in Michigan.
Harris held a campaign event Thursday night in Farmington Hills in Oakland County that was moderated by Oprah Winfrey. The Democratic presidential nominee said the 2024 election is about making it clear what we stand for.
She added the real strength of a leader is not who you beat down — but who you lift up.
Harris also said if elected, she would sign a bipartisan immigration bill.
