BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two men were found by Battle Creek police in the parking lot of an elementary school yesterday afternoon with knives and BB guns.
Police say the two told them they pulled into the lot due to having car problems and said they didn’t realize it was a school.
A witness called police to say the two men were seen retrieving what they thought were rifles from the trunk.
They said they unloaded the trunk searching for a car jack.
The two are now in the Calhoun County Jail.
