KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety has arrested a suspect in several stabbings Thursday night and early Friday morning.
Two women, 34 and 38-years-old, are in stable condition at a Kalamazoo hospital after they were stabbed in their heads and necks just after 10 p.m. Thursday.
Another woman, 25-years-old, said she was punched in the face by the same suspect while she was walking along the Kalamazoo Mall just before 10 p.m.
Just before 4 a.m. Friday, a 51-year-old man arrived at Bronson Hospital after being stabbed in the shoulder and said it happened while he was in Bronson Park.
The suspect was caught after a foot chase in the area of Water Street and the Kalamazoo Mall that ended when an officer hit the 33-year-old Kalamazoo man with a police cruiser.
The man is in stable condition at a hospital and will be taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
The investigation remains open.
