LANSING, MI — Chick-fil-A announced Wednesday its plan to more than double its footprint in the state of Michigan with over 25 restaurants expected to open by the end of 2028, including several more in the mid-Michigan area.
The upcoming locations include new Lansing and Jackson area Chick-fil-A stores opening sometime during 2025, according to the press release. The restaurant chain already has locations in Lansing on the westside and in Okemos.
Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, according to the press release, which means Chick-fil-A’s local owner-operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side-by-side with their employees daily, according to the release.
