MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it has been awarded a $35,000 Impact Grant from the Marshall Community Foundation to purchase two new drones and replace the existing, outdated drones at the Sheriff’s Office.
According to a Sheriff’s Department news release, this grant will significantly enhance the department’s capabilities in aerial law enforcement operations.
The new drones which feature advanced features and improved capabilities.
They are expected to be used in search and rescue missions, crime scene investigations, traffic accident reconstruction, and emergency response situations.
