CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One person is hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash in Cass County yesterday afternoon.

He crashed into a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Paul Zinich of Elkhart, who was southbound on Union and Zinich’s vehicle then hit a third vehicle that was stopped on the west side of Mason Street. That vehicle was driven by 52-year-old Bill Scarberry of Jones.
Scarberry and Zinich were treated for their injuries at the scene and were released.
The at-fault driver, whose name, age, and hometown have not been released, is being treated at Elkhart General Hospital for his injuries.
His condition is not known.
Deputies say they have not determined if alcohol was a factor in the crash that happened just before 4 p.m.
