LANSING, MI — University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is celebrating the positive impact of their pet therapy dogs on the well-being of the mid-Michigan community.
The Lansing hospital has invited all of their certified therapy dogs for a special celebration, including new leashes and tasty treats and the unveiling of a special plaque, on Tuesday July 31.
“Our therapy dogs bring hope and smiles to faces across our health system, playing a crucial role in enhancing the emotional and mental health of patients, their families and our team members,” the hospital said in a press release announcing the special event.
