KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – In the run up to the August 6 primary election in Michigan, eight days of Early Voting begins Saturday.
Four early voting centers have been established in Kalamazoo County: Portage Parks and Recreation, 320 Library Lane, Portage; Western Michigan University’s Fetzer Center, 2251 Business Court, Kalamazoo; Douglass Community Center, 1000 West Paterson Street, Kalamazoo; and Kalamazoo County Expo Center, 2900 Lake Street, Kalamazoo.
The sites will be open from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27 through Sunday, August 4.
To request an absentee ballot, residents can visit the Michigan Voter Information Center at mi.gov/vote. Completed absentee ballots must be returned to your normal polling location by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 6. In-person voting will be from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. that day, also.
