FLINT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A $23.4-billion education budget for Fiscal Year 2025 has been signed by Governor Whitmer.
The budget includes free pre-K and community college tuition along with free school meals at K-12 public schools.
The education budget, however, does not include a per-pupil funding increase for the first time in a decade.
Whitmer signed the budget in Flint yesterday.
