Whitmer endorses Harris for President, not seeking VP slot

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency.

Whitmer made the endorsement announcement yesterday and also said she is not going to run for Vice President.

She says she will continue serving as a co-chair of the Democratic campaign for the White House, as she had been doing for President Biden.

Whitmer said she still has work to do in Michigan until the end of her term in 2026.
