Battle Creek boy dies days after being hit by truck

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The eleven-year-old boy who was badly injured when he was hit from behind by a pickup truck while he was on a mini-dirt bike last Thursday has died.

Battle Creek police say the boy died from his injuries in the hospital on Monday.

The boy turned in front of a pickup that did not have enough time to be able to stop.

The crash remains under investigation.
