LAINGSBURG, MI — Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 62-year-old man was killed in a farming accident on Tuesday afternoon near Laingsburg, which is just northeast of Lansing. The man, identified by police as Norman Kissling, was working with heavy farm equipment when he became pinned under the bucket of a Bobcat skid steer, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
The accident happened at a rural farm on East Chadwick Road at about 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Kissling was discovered by fellow workers. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Laingsburg Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance and Bath Township Police assisted at the scene, according to the news release.
