WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Rite Aid Corporation and several of its subsidiaries agreed to pay $101 million to resolve allegations of failing to accurately report drug rebates to Medicare, the U.S. Justice Department said on Wednesday.
The Justice Department also said the corporation and 10 subsidiaries and affiliates would settle allegations that they violated the False Claims Act and the Controlled Substances Act related to opioid dispensing.
