KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One person is in stable condition after being shot in the leg Saturday night in Kalamazoo.
Around 9:55 p.m. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to the area of Florence and Woodbury Streets in reference to a shots fired complaint. As officer arrived in the area, they were notified that a victim had just arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, a 30-year-old Kalamazoo resident, had been shot one time in the leg and was listed in stable condition.
KDPS says the suspect fled the area and has not been identified at this time.
