KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 45-year-old man has been arrested by Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team members for drug sales and other charges.
Officers went to the 1000 block of Trimble Avenue May 30th for a search warrant and the suspect tried to run away.
He dropped a firearm while running, which was recovered, and KVET investigators also found crack cocaine and fentanyl on him.
The suspect is also a person of interest in a recent shooting in the city of Kalamazoo and has previously been convicted of felonies. He is not allowed to have a firearm.
His name has not been released.
