COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo County officials have sought outside help to execute a visioning process, as they ramp up for the future.
In a rare meeting of most of the county’s top officials they began a process of nailing down their core principals, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and refining their aspirations.
County Administrator Kevin Catlin says it will take more meetings this summer, and again this fall to complete the process with the facilitators.
He says the end product should be a more unified county government.
They should have a clearer idea of their path forward in time to finalize next year’s budget.
The session was held last evening in Comstock Township.
