UNION, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 31-year-old man from Cass County has claimed a million-dollar prize from the April 6 Powerball drawing.
The Michigan Lottery says Cain Bice of Union purchased the ticket online at MichiganLottery.com, matched all of the white balls and missed the Powerball.
Bice plans to buy a house and a car and take a trip to Disney World.
He says he started shouting once he realized he had won a million dollars and says his wife asked what was going on. Bice says once they calmed down, they called their family to tell them the good news.
Bice says he bought a few more Powerball tickets than he normally does because the jackpot was over a billion dollars.
