KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking applicants interested in filling a vacancy on the board.
The vacancy was created by the recent resignation of trustee Denise Miller, who resigned effective March 14, 2024. Miller was elected to a four-year term in November 2022.
The successor will serve until December 31, 2024 , with the seat up for election in November 2024.
Those interested in applying for the vacancy are asked to submit a letter of interest no later than April 24, 2024.
The letter should address why the candidate believes they are qualified to serve on the library board.

Interviews will take place the week of April 29, 2024, and a special meeting will be held in May, at which point the sitting board will appoint the new trustee.
