KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Robots of every shape and size will be invading Kalamazoo this Thursday.
The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center along with Automation Alley and Western Michigan University are hosting the Re:Making Michigan Technology Showcase, which will bring together manufacturers, industry experts, and students to explore the growing world of advanced technology, from collaborative robots to machine learning.
Organizers say participants will be able to touch and interact with those tools while learning how they can be leveraged to grow business and solve workplace challenges.
Featured technology for the Re:Making Michigan Technology Showcase includes robots used for material and food delivery, medical and industrial sanitation, inventory control, retail, banking, warehousing, smart cities, and agriculture, as well as 3D printers, and other automation.
The event will take place Thursday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Western Michigan University College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at 4601 Campus Drive.
