SPRINGFIELD, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – An initial suspect has been identified after a 29-year-old Springfield man was shot at the Thunderbird Village trailer park.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched Sunday night at about 10:50 p.m.. As they arrived, deputies found the victim with a single gunshot wound.
Once the scene was secured LifeCare ambulance along with Springfield Fire Department began treating the victim but he eventually died from his injuries.
The Calhoun County Detective Bureau is currently investigating the incident. Authorities say there is no threat to the public.
