KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – While Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Van Buren counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory only until 2:00 p.m. Friday, some areas of west Michigan will see snow continuing through early Saturday.
The National Weather Service says snow will spread across the I-94 corridor this morning with reductions in visibility to less than a mile at times. There will be snow rates up to a half an inch per hour are possible this morning. The snow is expected to linger through the day but will be lighten this afternoon.
Areas like Allegan, Barry, and Kent counties are expected to see three to seven inches of snow out of this early spring storm, with their Winter Weather Advisories posted until 12:00 a.m. Saturday.
