LANSING, MI — We are just a few days into spring and winter weather is set for a return to mid-Michigan. The Lansing-area commute Friday could be affected as the area sees up to 4 inches of snow overnight Thursday and through the day Friday, according to meteorologist Katie Nickolaou at media partner WLNS TV-6 in Lansing.
Nickolaou says accumulating snow will begin to fall late Thursday night and then continue with a rain and snow mix on Friday. Accumulation is most likely early Friday and continuing through Friday evening.
The Lansing area is likely to see 2-4 inches, according to the Storm Tracker 6 forecast. Get the Storm Tracker weather app on your mobile device to stay up to date.
