KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The dedication ceremony for Kalamazoo County’s brand new Judge Charles H. Pratt Justice Center was tentatively scheduled for this spring, but its been pushed back to this fall, for a number of reasons.
County commissioner John Taylor says the tentative date is September 7th. They are trying to make it a really special occasion by attracting some headliners.
He says it’s something worth celebrating.
Court officials say they also hope to close a nearby street, avoid conflicting with other events, vacation season, and finish work on a number of glitches in the brand new building that have been discovered by staff. All that takes time and logistics.
