SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department is looking for four suspects after an early Monday morning robbery at the Kelly’s Express Mart on C Drive North.
The Sheriff’s Department says deputies were dispatched at about 2:46 a.m. after an alarm activation.
Deputies arrived within about two minutes of the dispatched call and confirmed a burglary.
They say three suspects used a crow bar to force the door open, entered the business, and filled a large trash bag with numerous items of merchandise from behind the counter, mainly alcohol and tobacco products.

A fourth suspect was the “getaway driver” who remained in the vehicle which is believed to a be a newer model blue or purple Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson.
A Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit tried a track but it was terminated after learning that the suspects left in a vehicle.
One suspect wore a Gray hooded sweater and the two others wore Blue hooded sweaters. They also had their faces concealed and wore gloves.
The scene was processed for evidence and the case remains under investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. They were assisted by the Albion Department of Public Safety, Michigan State Police, and the Marshall Police Department.
