KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Changes are coming to a busy intersection in the City of Kalamazoo.
Thursday night the city’s zoning board of appeals approved plans for the project, which will see the intersection of Angling Road and Oakland Drive realigned to establish a four-way intersection.
Currently the two roads meet at a curve, but under the new plan they will be realigned to meet at a right angle and Angling Road will be expanded all the way to the Kalamazoo Country Club.
The new intersection will also have new traffic lights and crosswalks. A timeline for when construction will begin has not been announced.
