KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University men’s basketball team failed to clinch a Mid American Conference tournament bid Tuesday night, falling to Bowling Green 73-65 at University Arena.
Seth Hubbard led the trio of Broncos in double-figures with 12 points, while B. Artis White had 11 and Anthony Crump added 10. Crump also snared 10 rebounds to collect his third double-double of the campaign.
The loss dropped WMU to 11-19 overall and 8-9 in the MAC.
Western Michigan can now clinch a spot in the 2024 Mid-American Conference Tournament Friday night as they welcomes Akron to University Arena for the regular season finale at 6:00 p.m.
Friday is also Senior Night for Western Michigan, and the game will be aired nationally on CBS Sports Network as well as the Bronco Radio Network.
