ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State Police say a 72-year-old Grand Rapids woman has been killed when she was hit by a Buick LaCrosse on US-131 Thursday night.
Troopers say she was going north on the highway when one of her tires became disabled and she was struck when she got out of the car.
The Buick was driven by a 44-year-old Kalamazoo man and the crash happened just before 8 p.m.
No names have been released and the crash remains under investigation.
Michigan State Police have updated the information that it was a 72-year-old woman from Grand Rapids and not a 77-year-old man from Kentwood who was killed.
