LANSING, MI — The Lansing Community College Board of Trustees officially welcomed their new trustees during an oath of office ceremony earlier this week at the Feb. 19, Board of Trustees meeting.
Trustee Terrence Frazier and Trustee Noel Garcia Jr. will hold office until Dec. 31, 2024, according to a press release.
Frazier is the owner and chief operating officer of Sweet Encounter Bakery Cafe in downtown Lansing, and boasts more than 25 years of administrative experience. Trustee Garcia Jr. served the Lansing Police Department (LPD) for more than 25 years. He also recently worked as a Law Enforcement Program instructor at the Capital Area Career Center.
The pair were appointed to fill the trustee positions vacated by Andrew Abood and Ryan Buck, who resigned Jan. 1, 2024.
