STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Malik Hall scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double this season on Wednesday night to lead Michigan State to a 80-72 win over Penn State.
Jaden Akins was hot, too, and added 20 points while Carson Cooper had 10 in the victory. MSU moves to 8-6 in the Big Ten.
For the Spartans, they will return to action Saturday with a trip down the road to Ann Arbor to face Michigan at 8:00 p.m. on Fox TV.
