DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s more expensive to fill up the gas tank this week compared to last week.
AAA Michigan says the price per gallon is up by 26¢ to $3.26.
That is 32 cents higher than this time last month and five-cents less than last year.
A 15-gallon fill up costs $48 on average in the state, about $10 lower than the peak in 2023 in August.
The state’s highest price is $3.28 in both Lansing and Jackson, while Marquette has the most affordable gasoline in Michigan at $3.19.
Locally, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Van Buren counties are all at $3.25, Allegan County is at $3.26, and Barry County is at $3.29.
