KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – In the 100th anniversary year of the American Heart Association, the 2024 Kalamazoo Go Red for Women Gala Thursday night set a record by exceeding their $100,000 fundraising goal.
American Heart Association-West Michigan Communications Director Matt Johnson says nearly 450 attended the event at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo.

Johnson says the black-tie evening gala last night also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Go Red for Women movement and the many advances born in Michigan as part of the American Heart Association’s 100th anniversary in 2024.
