CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Calhoun County Clerk and Register of Deeds Kimberly A. Hinkley has announced a collaboration with 19 municipalities in Calhoun County for the Early In-Person Voting Site at the Calhoun County Building in Marshall.
Early In-Person Voting sites are open nine consecutive days from the second Saturday before Election Day and ending the Sunday before Election Day for all state and federal elections in Michigan.
For the upcoming February 27 Presidential Primary Election, Early In-Person Voting will be available from February 17 until February 25.
There are two Early In-Person Voting Sites in Calhoun County, and registered voters should go to the site that correlates with where they are registered.
Registered voters from the City of Albion, City of Marshall, Albion Township, Athens Township, Burlington Township, Clarence Township, Clarendon Township, Convis Township, Eckford Township, Emmett Charter Township, Fredonia Township, Homer Township, Lee Township, Leroy Township, Marengo Township, Marshall Township, Newton Township, Sheridan Township, and Tekonsha Township will vote at the County Building on West Green Street in Marshall. This site is open from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. each day.
Voters from the City of Battle Creek, City of Springfield, Bedford Charter Township, and Pennfield Charter Township can vote early at the Kool Family Center at 200 West Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek. This site will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Individuals must be registered to vote prior to going to an Early In-Person Voting Site. Anyone not registered can register online at the State’s Secretary of State website or at their local City or Township Clerk.
