MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Central Michigan University is launching a new, four-year nursing program.
Students will be able to enter the Bachelor of Science Nursing degree program in January 2025 and the program is meant to help deal with the national shortage of nurses.
The number of registered nursing jobs in the state are expected to increase by 7.9 percent from 2020 to 2030, creating over 6,000 jobs a year.
