CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Usually, county road departments put seasonal weight restrictions in effect during the month of March as the weather starts to warm up.
But that’s not the case in Calhoun County this year.
The Calhoun County Road Department announced on Monday they will be enacting Seasonal Weight Restrictions beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, January 31.
Weight restrictions are imposed to protect the roads during the annual spring cycle of thawing and freezing.
