BARRY COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are investigating a shooting threat at Thornapple Kellogg High School in Barry County.
The sheriff’s office says the threat became known just after 9 a.m. Wednesday that a student had brought a gun to school and was saying they were going to shoot it up.
The high school immediately put a shelter in place into effect while staff and police investigated.
No guns were found in a search of the school by deputies and Michigan State Police troopers.
No arrests have been made, and the incident is still under investigation.
