KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A pair of groups plan to build as many snow people as they can in Kalamazoo’s Bronson Park today to protest what they say is inaction on climate change.
Members of the Ardea Youth Climate Coalition and the Citizens’ Climate Lobby intend to build various snow creatures in a place where many people will see them. The groups will put signs next to the sculptures during the event.
The wintry protest is part of a nation-wide effort by the Citizens’ Climate Lobby to draw attention to an overall decline in snowfall.
