KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Winter Storm Warning has been extended until 12:00 p.m. Sunday for Kalamazoo County and many areas of west and southwest Michigan.
The National Weather Service says there could be additional snow accumulations of two to six inches during the day Saturday, with the highest accumulations expected west of U.S. 131.
Winds gusting as high as 40 mph could cause occasional whiteout conditions along with blowing and drifting snow.
The NWS says additional lake effect snow is expected Saturday night into Sunday morning.
