COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Around two dozen volunteers worked for several hours Thursday to clean up homeless camp debris from Eastwood Little League in Comstock Township.
League president Matt Schreiner says he has called the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office eight times this year about the trash and says they have been helpful.
A former coach donated the dumpsters from his College Hunks franchise and Kazoopy’s Pizza and Grinders provided the crew with a free meal as a thank you.
Schreiner says he is very thankful for the response to get the area cleaned up.
