LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan State Police are launching their “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign Friday and it will run through New Year’s Day.
The drunk driving crackdown will mean more troopers on patrol.
State police say there have been 66 people killed in crashes over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period from 2018 to 2022, with 17 deaths being in crashes where alcohol was involved.
