TEKONSHA, MI (WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person or persons who fired shots into an apartment in Tekonsha early Wednesday morning.
Deputies were called at about 3:30 a.m. to the 900 block of Old U.S. 27 on a shots fired complaint.
As deputies arrived, they learned that several rounds had been fired into an apartment.
Deputies canvassed the area and located multiple items of evidence in the road directly in front of the residence.
No injuries were reported. The Sheriff’s Department stated in a press release there is not believed to be an additional threat to the public related to this incident.
Deputies were assisted by the Calhoun County Consolidated Dispatch Authority.
