KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University men’s soccer team will host a first round match in the NCAA Tournament against Green Bay at WMU Soccer Complex this Thursday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m.
Western Michigan is making its fourth appearance in the NCAA Division I Tournament, including its second straight overall. The Broncos (15-1-3, 7-0-1) enter the NCAA tournament riding a program best 18-match unbeaten streak, getting an automatic bid after winning the Missouri Valley Conference tournament Sunday, defeating Missouri State 2-1 in the championship game.
Since 2014, the Brown and Gold have posted a 5-0 record against the Phoenix. Most recently in 2019, the Broncos defeated the Phoenix 5-0 on the road.
The winner will advance to a second-round match at No. 15 Duke (11-3-3) Sunday, November,19
