MONTEREY TWP., MI (WKZO-AM/FM) – The search for a 32-year-old woman from north of Allegan who hadn’t been seen since around 12 Noon on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 has ended happily.
That’s the word from the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department, who had issued a “missing endangered subject” statement on Saturday morning for Erica Leigh Scott. The 5-7, 123-pound Caucasian woman with brown hair and brown eyes was last seen wearing camo pants and jacket, carrying a black crossbow with pink strings, in the area of 134th Avenue and 32nd Street. According to family and friends, Scott has medical conditions requiring medication that apparently she did not have when she disappeared.
Around 3 PM, Sheriff’s Sergeant Kyle Baker announced that Scott had been located: “She was safe and able to be released to family.” He gave no further details as to the circumstances surrounding her recovery, including the location where she was found.
