BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The City of Battle Creek says the newly-constructed roundabout at the intersection of Skyline Drive and Hill Brady Road is now open.
While the roundabout is fully functional, city officials say some traffic lanes are slightly narrower than normal to allow for the final stage of construction, which will include contractor crews
working along the sides of both Skyline and Hill Brady.
Since this area will still be an active construction zone, drivers are reminded to keep traffic speeds to a minimum and to be aware of both workers and construction equipment in the area.
The final stage of construction is expected to last around two weeks with the completion of the project expected in mid-November.
Work hours during this stage will generally be 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. There continues to be no expected impacts to any Battle Creek Transit routes during the roundabout construction work, including during this final stage.
